Sleek, Ergonomic Design. A sleek new look and ultra-high quality components define the new Quasar Surface, all tough enough for uninterrupted use.
Designed based on customer feedback and close attention to user ergonomics, Quasar features an easy-to-use touchscreen user interface (no external display required) to which operators can also access remotely via an interface in HTML5. The absence of a headband facilitates installation on the desk (the studio screens can be placed at the very bottom and close to the surface). The console does not have a fan, the tray receives the various surface modules, a redundant power supply allows the load to be distributed and the control to be kept in service when a power source is lost.
Customizable and easy to use
Quasar considerably facilitates the work of the operator, including for the new Source profiles (automation of the logic associated with the source), automatic N-1, auto-mix of the inputs (for example a group of microphones). Advanced level metering is built into the surface, on each channel screen and next to each fader, as well as on the touch monitor module. Users can customize the surface of their Quasar with user-assignable buttons in the touchscreen master module and at each channel strip.
For TV applications, the powerful new 'Quasar Engine' offers 64 stereo input channels - all with robust DSP processing - as well as level metering on all outputs. Four programmable layers allow the user to control all channels (including DSP), even on the smallest control rooms (surface).

All console have a height of 110mm (4.33 inches). This includes the rubber feet to the top of the option knobs.
DEPTH
All frames have a depth (viewed from the side) of 580mm (22.83 inches).

Combining Frames
Multiple smaller frames can be combined and the side panels can be removed so the frames could be butted against each other. If that is the case, EACH side panel accounts for 15mm (.6 inches) of the overall dimension.
