Performance Description of the TR50 Virtual Tracking Rail System. The TR50 virtual tracking rail is a manual rail system that provides users with straight movement position when equipped with the CD15 or CD20 virtual tracking head. The rail system’s locator box calculates data from the pan/tilt and rail sensors to caculate the current position and angle of the camera in real-time, and then uploads this data to the server in the on-site coordinate system.
Combined with the “Conical Cross Positioning Method,” the system’s locator can set the positioning parameters of the rail system through a few simple operations, including determining the origin of the rail and its coordinates, the zero-degree deviation angle of the pan/tilt, and the azimuth angle of the rail on-site. These parameters can be determined within 3 to 5 minutes with the rail already set up and the virtual software preliminarily configured for the AR environment.
